 A very useful shield. Shields that block light are still hard to find in this level of the Battledome. This manages to shut down Jade Staff, and cripples Stone Club and Psellias Fighting Fan.

Alternatives: Leaf Shield blocks water instead of light. Sophies Magic Hat blocks dark and fire. Thief Dagger also offers 3 light and 3 physical defense, but instead of earth defense, it has a bit of attack. It's also a lot cheaper...

 This is also a good option after the Leaf Shield. It is much more expensive but still buyable in the Shop Wizard.

ALTERNATIVE: Sophies Magic Hat is a nice option but it tends to become overpriced especially during plots.

UPGRADES: Ghostkershield or Faerie Tabard
