The inconvenience with this is you have no idea when to start using it, because you have no idea how many turns it will take to actually heal. As such, it's very risky to use, seeing how failing to heal could easily cost you a battle.

As much as I wish this were either just a 25% healer, it's still a usable choice for those on a budget.

Alternatives: Gelert Healing Remedy, Elephante Unguent, and Kacheek Life Potion are affordable and reliable healers if you have those species. Many other species have similar healers too. Short Sleeved Yellow Tunic and Greater Healing Scroll are the all-species options, but they're eventually outgrown.

Upgrades: Bag of Healing Dust is the next all-species healer worth getting.

Downgrades: Golden Sun Chalice has a lower percentage of success and is probably not worth using.

Similar to Golden Sun Chalice but with a better success rate. I wouldn't rely on it much though unless your pet is a tank with super high HP and Defense.

Alternatives: Lesser Healing Scroll, Greater Healing Scroll or you could try species healer like Squishy Shoyru Healing Stone and Kacheek Life potion.

Upgrades: Leaded Elemental Vial and Jade Scorchstone Are the 2 most reliable 100% healers.
