Tactical (1/3): A well-timed Burrow will destroy this but this is a blast through Sink. Full earth blockers will also wipe out this bomb. Many common shields take a chunk out of this weapon, although you could use this as a freeze bomb. However, this will almost always get icons through shields.
Other Observations (0/1): These used to be the best bomb for intermediate battling. Then again, I couldn't afford one back in the day.
I've always hated this weapon and always will. TNT needs to make bombs that are more price-efficient. So far the only ones worth it are this, the Ghostkerbomb, and some (me) might think, the Rainbow Clockwork Grundo.
Power(2) 13.3 to 16 icons, once per battle. Not that great...
Price(2) Now that finally, this thing's price is settling, and the Ylanas Blaster has inflated up to 1M, this is actually sort of worth it.
Strategy(2) This cakes on a lot of earth icons, which is decent, but this is still going to get pretty damaged by common defense. Still, it's hard to block out any icon that's there's a lot of. Burrow kills this, but Sink isn't going to touch this.
Other(0) I seriously hate this weapon, and yet it's the only bomb worthwhile around it's price... Agh...
Upgrades: Whenever you're upgrading to a new bomb, it should be to a Ghostkerbomb. If you cant afford one and you want a new bomb soon, get a Rainbow Clockwork Grundo.
Downgrades: Blood Grub isn't that good, but it's still a downgrade.

I actually always thought this was a bit overrated, as a few extra icons for one turn each battle didn't seem like a big deal. Now, with the release of Ylanas Blaster, it's probably just better to go in that direction and get a multiple-use weapon that deals just slightly less. Still, if you're done upgrading the rest of your set, this is an option. As a tactical weapon, if you can guess what turn your opponent might be using Sink, ouch! :)
Alternatives: Ylanas Blaster deals slightly less, with more boring icons, but can be used multiple times each battle. Get two of those (or other constants) before going after this. One-use 15 icon weapons such as Brain Muffin can be used for important fights, but their cost can start adding up.
Ah, the Honey Potion. Regarded by many "the cheapest and most effective Earth and Physical bomb around", the Honey Potion combines a sweet price (1.2 million at time of writing) with a very strong punch.
Power (9/10) - Now, you can't deny it - the HP is master in Earth icons. It can deal around 13-16 icons, which is superb for this price range.
Downsides? Limit One and easily blocked.
Price (9/10) - You really can't judge the war inflation price, as it'll surely go down, so I'll give a 9 here for its excellent price/icons relation.
Tactical (8/10) - 1p wise, this is simply superb, as there aren't many challengers (in this intermediate category) who can defend well against earth, so a beserker Neopet will have pure fun with around 24 icons.
In 2p, this is even obscured by likes of the simple Leaf Shield and Sophies Magic Hat to be (near) absolutely blocked by the Burrow ability!
It's not that effective, but it still can pack that last punch.
Overall (9/10) - The Honey Potion is a solid Limit One bomber. Dealing out 13-16 icons is a dream for beginners and intermediate users who can't afford constant powerhouses like the Sword of Skardsen and Pirates Captain Cutlass.
With that said, it proves to be an excellent option if you are just starting out battling and have plenty to spend for your first set, and for intermediate users.
If you got one from Illusen's Quest 35, then congratulations! I highly recommend you keep it if you don't have one already. If you do, sell it for profit, as its worth quite a bit!
Alternatives: If you have 7 mill in your bank account, invest in the Ghostkerbomb, as it's the ultimate bomb.
One of the first main Blowy Uppy Thingys a battler gets. There is a small chance you can get this from Illusen's Quest, but don't count on it. chances are you'll be hit by an unbuyable item. If your doing the quest, go for the trophy and think of the Honey Potion as iceing on the cake.
Otherwise you can get for a measly 1.2 mil as of 2/23/08. Wartime infalted the price so it SHOULD drop back down to 800k-1mil afterwords... maybe. I got mine when it was only 400k.. And I should have horded them!
If you have one congrats, if not.. get to work! Now if you have better.. why are you reading this? go look at Ghostkerbomb or something
