If I were asked to sum it up in one word, then I would say: Amazing! This IS the best bomb in Neopia. It sure deserves the Number 1 spot of our Highest Rated weapon page, that's for sure.
Power (5/5) - 21 MINIMUM icons. And, considering it can hit up to 30 icons, this is a REAL powerhouse. Also, it's somewhat hard to block, making it amazing. Only the expensive dream weapons top this (read as: Weapons you will most probably never get in your life)
Price (2/2) - <7.5 mil for this makes it affordable to intermediate battlers. I mean, when you look at the icons of this, you HAVE to say that it's affordable. I could ramble on forever about how affordable this is, but for your sake and mine, I won't.
Tactical (3/3) - Once you get up to the intermediate/expert range of battling, you will be seeing a lot of this weapon in 2p. And I mean a LOT. It wouldn't be impossible to make it get the 30 icons when your Neopet is trained up to make you a battling expert.
In 1p, this is pretty cool for stuff like wars, beating the pants out of Punchbag Sid, etc etc.
Overall (10/10) - As I said before, it's no wonder this weapon is #1 on the Highest Rated list. One of the best weapons in Neopia... possibly even the best.
Remember just to have a highly trained pet if you want the 30 icons out of it ;)
Upgrades - Super Attack Pea could be the only upgrade to this... but don't even LOOK at the price of that.
Counters - Thyora's Tear can block this, obviously. Downsize! is the cheapest counter I can mention, but has half the power of the Thyora's Tear. Burrow and Sink, two awesome Faerie Abilities are pretty cool in beating this, too. Sink doesn't block all icons though.
Downgrades - Below this, you have your average bombs such as the Honey Potion. Another good bomb is the Rainbow Clockwork Grundo, which deals 16-20 icons, compared to the Honey Potion's 14-16 icons.

The best bomb you can ever find!
Power (4/4) Does 20-30 icons! This makes it the best!
Price (2/2) I would call it cheap for that many icons. Buy it if you have enough money.
This weapon would really be ultimately great if you freeze your opponent and combine it with a honey potion!

This is the strongest widely-available bomb in Neopia, dealing 21-30 icons. It can easily swing a battle in your favor, or quickly finish an easy one. The price isn't too bad either, and it stays pretty stable due to being available in the Hidden Tower.
Upgrades: Nothing beyond the dream-level constants. Can you afford an Attack Pea or a Faerie Slingshot?
Downgrades: Rainbow Clockwork Grundo and Honey Potion are the cheaper good bombs.
Defenses: Use Downsize! or Burrow at the right time. Easier said than done.

Many said that this is the best bomb in all Neopia. Considering the amount of damage and the price, this is a must-have weapon. Not even the mighty Ghostkershield can fully stop this.

This is one of the best weapons in Neopia and practically unrivaled in its price range.
Power (10/10) it makes a dream choice by dishing out a MINIMUM of 21 icons, with the chance to boost your crazy attack with up to 9 additional physical icons! Definitely the maximum score I could possibly give here.
Price (10/10) For it's price of a measly 7 mil (yes, you can say measly for this awesome weapon), and I basically don't need words to describe the excellent price-feature relationship. Just check above and obtain your own conclusions.
Tactical (10/10) This weapon is very popular among 2 player battles, and you'll literally win every battle with this (unless your opponent has great defense weapons and stats). Wielding this with a berserker Neopets can break the insane 30 icon barrier easily.
Regarding 1p, you'll have an easy time here and is an excellent weapon to have for plots (if they do including battling).
Conclusion (10/10) I highly recommend this weapon, not only for it's excellent price, but for the massive ownage you can get just by using this.
Naturally, you'll need to have a pet with high attack and level stats if you are to squeeze out the full potential of the Ghostkerbomb.
Side note: This is a once-per-battle weapon only, therefore time the strike correctly and you may jump out of a disadvantage in battle (if that is the case).
Upgrades: If you want to hit even harder at the expense of probably your whole bank account, try the Super Attack Pea.
Counters: Hmmm, not many out there that can block the full power of this weapon, but try Thyora's Tear for a full block or the great Downsize!, for much cheaper, but also wtih half the effectiveness.
