 A pretty cool dual-duty; physical defense is sure to come into use. The light icons are okay, but having physical in its own offense is very disappointing, as it leaves it vulnerable to a host of other weapons.

Alternatives: There are other weapons that deal 6 icons and offer 3 physical defense: Superior Shovel, Black Fan of Shenkuu, and Scarab Ring. I actually like all of them more than this weapon.

Upgrades: Makeshift Ships Hammer has more offense.

Counters: Thief Dagger shuts this out completely.

Pandar
 I can't figure out why but I like this weapon.

Power(1) 6 Offensive, 3 Defensive icons.

Price(1) This is just a tad bit over a good price for it... Still in the range where it's worth it though.

Strategy(2) The Light is really good, as it's pretty uncommonly blocked in the lower levels of battling. The physical defense will be a great, great help at this level, especially when paired up along side Scarab Ring.

Other(1) I don't know why, but there's something about this weapon I just really like. Maybe it's the light icons.

Defenses: Scarab Ring beats this by a single icon. Patched Magic Hat is in this price range and somewhat commonly seen, and it'll knock this weapon out completely.

Upgrades: The Rusty Lamppost does 5 light icons, and blocks 3 dark/3 physical.
Downgrades: Nothing within a reasonable, or even sane price range.
Alternatives: Ghostkerchief Bracers do 3 light, and defend 3 light/2 physical.

Well, the physical defense is a plus. Physical is one of the most common icon types, and nearly everything blocks some physical. Physical is also the only type that doesn't have a full blocker, but I'm sidetracking. This item might find some use, but 21k is a lot to fork up for a 6 iconer. You should probably go with Scarab Ring if you want to hang out in the 6 icon range. Upgrades would be the commonly mentioned Stone Club, Ice Club, Psellias Fighting Fan, Golden Compass, Essence of Esophagor, etc.

One point in other because it looks cool. =P
