Kitchen Quests

Kitchen Quests can be a great way to help boost your pet's battling statistics, outside of the training schools. Previously employed as chef to the royal family of Maraqua, the Underwater Chef has been serving food to Mumbo Pango since the destruction of old Maraqua. Due to Mumbo Pango's demanding nature, the Chef is confined to his kitchen on Mystery Island and needs you to go collect ingredients for his latest concoction!

Users can chose when they wish to accept Kitchen Quests, though you can only do a maximum of ten quests a day. The Chef usually asks for between two and four items, and will give you a time limit to find them and then return with them. You are, however, allowed to use the Shop Wizard to help you find the items.

The rewards of completing these quests include Neopoints, items (usually just cheap stuff, though if you're lucky he might reward you with something rarer) and of course, stat increases. Stat increases are randomly awarded to one of your pets. Because of this many people who use Kitchen Quests to train only have their battle pet on their main accounts - keeping any other pets that they want to have on side accounts, at least while they are training by these quests. This way, all increases gained from the completed quests are awarded to their battle pet.

Stat increases can affect any combination of your pet's battle statistics: level, strength, defense, movement or hit points.

Kitchen Quests can be a bit of a gamble, because you never know what you're going to get, but if you're lucky they can be a very good way to supplement your pet's training!
